I. Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the guild RP theme?
Short answer: We don’t have one! We’re a roleplay hub guild, so where some guilds have themes like “treasure hunters” or “mages”-- we allow characters of all types and do not enforce one specific theme. Players are welcome to form their own themed sub-factions using the RP Classifieds section, and our guild events are designed to include all guild characters as much as possible.
2. What is the current guild RP story?
Our guild story is updated every two weeks! Check our Current Arc thread for the latest updates. Everyone is allowed to participate.
3. When is the next guild event?
Right now we have guild RP events every-other Saturday, and OOC meetings every Wednesday, both at 4pm PST. You can ALWAYS find this information, including event times, on our Guild Calendar.
Most of the time, you can also find this information in our guild MOTD and on Discord.
4. Where’s all the roleplay? When is everyone online?
Aside from guild events, many of our players are active on a daily or weekly basis, and there is causal RP most evenings. For more specific time frames, check our Member Availability thread and be sure to take the poll.
5. Why won’t anyone RP with me? RP seems dead.
This is a complicated question, and as such there are a few different answers. We have a lot of active and eager roleplayers, and 99.9% of the time when RP feels dead or someone is left out, it’s due to a lack of communication. Ask yourself: how do you look for RP? Do you wait for others to start it, or do you start it up yourself? How do you meet others in-character? Does your character wait to be noticed by others, or do you find a way to introduce your character into the scene? When your RP friends are offline, do you make new friends, or do you wait it out?
How you answer these questions can make or break your success with the roleplay community.
If you’re still at a loss, check the Guild Event Calendar, the ESO-RP Event Calendar, and the websites of our Guild Associates & Contacts.
I guarantee that if you follow these steps, you will quickly find success and discover that there’s tons of RP out there to be had. If you need help, you can always ask a guild officer or the GM!
6. Does my character profile need to be finished before I RP?
NO! You can jump into RP without a profile.
7. Can I still RP even if I don’t have a character concept yet?
Yes! You can play an NPC, a temporary character, or just experiment with play-styles until you find something you like.
8. Do I have to be in the story to attend a guild event?
No!! Guild events are designed to allow all characters to walk in and start participating. Sometimes these events get very large and hectic, so it helps to introduce yourself to a few players before starting, but you DO NOT have to have any prior RP experience with the guild before attending an event. Everyone is welcome.
9. Can I DM my own event?
YES!! Absolutely! We support and encourage players to create and DM their own events! If you need GM or admin help, feel free to ask for it, otherwise you can post your events in the RP Classifieds section or add them to our Event Calendar.
10. Can I make up my own NPCs?
Yes! Whether they be long-term villains for a campaign, simple and temporary bandits, an old wise man, or anything in between, all players are allowed to introduce NPCs into roleplay at any time.
11. Am I allowed to make up my own story that’s separate from the guild story?
Yes!! 100%! Feel free to make up as many roleplay stories or campaigns as you’d like. If you need help, feel free to ask the admin.
***If you have MORE QUESTIONS, feel free to ask them in our Questions Thread or send the GM or admin team a message!***

How you answer these questions can make or break your success with the roleplay community.
- If you want to roleplay, you’re probably not alone, so rather than waiting for others, it’s better to start a group up yourself and invite people to join you.
- If your friends are offline invite new players to RP with you.
- Check guild notes to find interested or similar RPers.
- If you’re joining a large group of roleplayers already in action, don’t linger on the outside and wait for them to say hello to your character. Find a way to engage your character with the story those players are already building.
- If you make friends with other active RPers that aren’t in the guild, feel free to send them an invitation.
- Remember that you can make a posting in our RP classifieds section looking for specific types of players!
- OOC patience and flexibility are another important factor. Keep in mind if it’s around the holidays, the start of a new school year, flu season, or exam time, as these will slow down RP. Sometimes people have a bad week and RP gets slow. If you're forgiving, you'll find that RP sticks around despite these obstacles.
- Try not to force your character to be bound to one location. RP opportunities pop up all over Tamriel, and if you want to access them, it’s important to give your character the means to do so. Have a handful of IC excuses to travel around, and keep them in your back-pocket.
